The architecture then evolved into a consolidated data platform built on Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake, natively integrated into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
Consolidating data ingestion into two primary cloud services drastically reduced architectural complexity and resulted in a 90% reduction in data processing costs. Information refresh rates improved from daily batches to every 30 minutes. The new platform seamlessly supports over 800 active users and establishes the foundational pillar for Calidra's Corporate Data Office.
